Frequently asked questions
Read the questions and the answersWhat is special about the Levelty courses?
Do you remember the feeling when time just flies by because you’re having such a great time? Like when you’re watching your favorite show and can’t wait for the next episode? That’s the magic of Levelty Books.
But there’s more! It’s not just about having fun. While you’re enjoying yourself, you’re also learning English. Levelty Books makes learning both enjoyable and incredibly effective. How?
All the courses are built around stories tailored to your language level. This means the story in your course will be easy enough to understand but challenging enough to help you learn. New materials, such as grammar and vocabulary, are introduced regularly throughout the story, allowing you to encounter them frequently and learn them effortlessly.
Each course is designed to help you reach a specific level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). For example, there’s a Levelty course that takes you from A2 to B1, another from B1 to B2, and another from B2 to C1. The story in each course is written to reflect the natural use of English at the target level.
IMPORTANT!
The novels used in these courses are not “easy readers.” “Easy readers” are simplified versions of literary works, altered to be easily understood. A Levelty novel, however, is written with a vocabulary range that mirrors real-world usage at that level. So, even if your English isn’t perfect yet, you’ll still sound sophisticated.
How will I improve with a Levelty course?
Each chapter of a novel focuses on a grammar item. You will see this grammar item in use in different contexts in that chapter. By the end of the chapter you will have an idea of how this grammar item works, but of course, by reading the colourful and interactive grammar section of the lesson belonging to that chapter, everything will become chrystal clear. Then, you will have the chance to practice.
The vocabulary of each novel is selected carefully, and the most important words come back again and again throughout the whole story, so they stick easily. Besides, you can practice the new words with exercises.
In the lesson, you will also find a pronunciation section where you can practice with a video.
All the sections use the new grammar and vocabulary items of the lesson, so learning is very smooth and simple.
